The Mudathon - Friday 22nd September 2017

Paragon Building & Project Consultants held their third Mudathon on the 22nd September. HCUK were one of their two Charity Partners for the third year running. Again it was hugely successful, and an event enjoyed by all two hundred and fifteen participants.

Rain the day before had ensured that the course was an even muddier experience.

HCUK had a team of six thanks to Simon Webster (Pro Fitness) who led the warm up in his usual energetic way. One member of the team was forced to stand down at the half way point having injured her shoulder, fortunately strained muscles rather than anything more horrendous.

The remaining five enthusiastically returned unharmed though very muddy. Paragon then ensured that all the participants and supporters were exceptionally well fed and watered. Paragon have raised in the region of £4,000 for HCUK for which we are extremely grateful.

Heartburn Cancer UK is delighted to have been invited to be Charity Partners of Paragon Building and Project Consultants for the third year running for their Mudathon event, which is being held on September 22rd.

HCUK is aiming to have a number of teams of five participating.
