We are Looking for Patients to Join a Study About Limited Spread Oesophageal Cancer
The research team are currently looking for patients to take part in shaping their work and providing their very important views. You will contribute your thoughts to help assess surgery versus chemotherapy in patients with limited spread (oligometastatic)* oesophageal cancer. This is an important area of research that has limited evidence. The study team are keen to use this research to provide more evidence to help with treatment options.
The team, headed up by HCUK Trustee Sheraz Markar, would like to assess what patients feel should be the primary outcome of treatment, specifically with regards to the quality of life that patients experience following receipt of certain treatments.
Participants would need to:
- Attend an online workshop, so have good internet access
- Be available mid November
- The exact date is to be confirmed however it is likely to be the 12th, 14th or 19th of November
- Join the workshop for an hour
If you have been diagnosed with oesophageal cancer, and would like more information or are interested in taking part, please complete this form to register your interest.
