Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research Opportunity

The University of Southampton are conducting a research study to explore the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) tools within healthcare settings – specifically the management of cancer patients.

Part of the research would be to gain views from the public about the use of computer-based tools and their use in healthcare. The purpose of the research is to develop computer-based predictive tools capable of helping clinicians caring for cancer patients.

To participate you would need to be undergoing care following a cancer diagnosis and be happy to be involved in a small group discussion.  The meetings should last up to 1 hour and will be hosted online to enable people in other parts of the country to get involved. Participants will be given a £25 gift voucher for their time.

You will also need to read the study participant information sheet here and provide written consent for the study.
