A very warm welcome to the Heartburn Cancer UK London Oesophageal Cancer Support Group, otherwise known as the BURP support group.
The group is open to patients, relatives and friends and runs with the Clinical expertise of Upper GI Clinical Nurse Specialists, Donna and Rebecca. The aim of the group is to give support to those living with oesophageal/gastric cancer and to give members the opportunity to chat to others facing similar issues. The meetings are very informal and are a great way to seek additional support and share experiences. Specialist dietitian, Julia, is usually present and Donna organises regular speakers.
