If you have entered an event that you don’t see listed on our pages or are lucky enough to have a ballot place in an event such as the London Marathon or The Great North Run and would like to fundraise to support our work then please get in touch. We will happily encourage you on your journey and we have lots of fundraising tips to get you started.

We’re here to support you every step of the way. From fundraising ideas and practical tips to ongoing encouragement, we have plenty of resources to help you make the most of your challenge and achieve your fundraising goals.

Thames Moonlight 10 2026

11 September 2026: Take on either a spirited Friday evening 10km or an energetic 10-mile looped route walk through the heart of London as darkness falls, and the Moon rises – and fundraise for Heartburn Cancer UK!

Thames Path Ultra Challenge®2026

12 & 13 September 2026: England’s greatest river provides a fantastic backdrop for an unforgettable challenge, which you can take on at your pace as a walk, jog, or run – and fundraise for Heartburn Cancer UK!

South Coast Ultra Challenge®2026

5 & 6 September 2026: The South Downs National Park is a superb backdrop for 2000 adventurers to take on a real challenge, and you can take it on at your pace as a walk, jog, or run – and fundraise for Heartburn Cancer UK!

Kent Downs 50 Ultra Challenge®2026

10 October 2026: An end of season Ultra Challenge in the ‘Garden of England’. A basecamp near Maidstone, join up to 2,000 adventurers and you can take it on at your pace as a walk, jog, or run – and fundraise for Heartburn Cancer UK!

Chiltern 50 Ultra Challenge®2026

26 September 2026: A 50km looped challenge in some of the Chilterns finest countryside, with historic trails, rolling hills, nature reserves, with fantastic views. Join up to 2,000 adventurers and take it on at your pace as a walk, jog, or run – and fundraise for Heartburn Cancer UK!

Thames Bridges Trek 2026

12 September 2026: Join 2500 walkers and trek 10 or 25 km across the Capital with unrivalled views of the skyline & landmarks – and you can fundraise for Heartburn Cancer UK!

London Halloween Walk 2026

31 October 2026: Why not risk a hair-raising hike around some of the City’s scary streets and historic haunts and raise money for Heartburn Cancer UK!

AJ Bell Great South Run 2026

18 October 2026: The AJ Bell Great South Run, taking place in Portsmouth, is probably the world’s favourite 10-miler, with inspiring history, salty air and glorious sea views guaranteed.

Bournemouth Half Marathon 2026

11 October 2026: Breathtaking views of the sea, cool coastal routes and the highlights of Poole and Bournemouth will be on show at this fantastic Half Marathon and Festival event.

Hampton Court 2026

11 October 2026: Choose from the 10k or the half marathon and run yourself into the history books with a regal run at Hampton Court Palace!
