Heartburn Awareness Across LincolnshireÂ
February / March 2026
From late February through March 2026, we partnered with East Midlands Cancer Alliance and Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board to raise awareness of persistent heartburn and its link to oesophageal cancer across the county – bringing trusted information and support directly to local communities.
Heartburn Awareness Across LondonÂ
February 2026
We were delighted to be working alongside London’s leading NHS Cancer Alliances to deliver this pan-London Oesophageal Awareness Month campaign. By collaborating, we reached communities across the capital, combining expertise, local insight, and trusted networks to raise awareness of oesophageal cancer and support earlier diagnosis.
Oesophageal Cancer Awareness in Corby
February 2026
For Oesophageal Cancer Awareness Month, we teamed up with East Midlands Cancer Alliance to launch a focused awareness campaign in Corby, Northamptonshire – helping people spot the signs of persistent heartburn and take action early!
Nottinghamshire Awareness Campaign
January / February 2026
Starting in January 2026, to coincide with Oesophageal Cancer Awareness Month in February, we worked in partnership with East Midlands Cancer Alliance and Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) to deliver a targeted awareness campaign in the Mansfield and Ashfield areas, focused on persistent heartburn and its link to oesophageal cancer.
The Heartburn Roadshow Across Manchester
October 2025
In October 2025, Heartburn Cancer UK teamed up with Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance to take important awareness messages directly into local communities.
Our mobile information unit – The Heartburn Hub – visited 10 supermarket locations across Greater Manchester, to talk with residents about persistent heartburn, indigestion, or reflux, and why these symptoms should be discussed with a GP.
The ‘More Than Just Heartburn’ Campaign Across the Wessex Region
February 2025
In 2025 we delivered a far-reaching campaign designed challenge the common misconception that ongoing heartburn is just a minor annoyance. By shifting awareness and empowering early intervention, we hoped to support earlier diagnosis and reduce the likelihood of progression to oesophageal cancer.
