With the support of Heartburn Cancer UK and the East Anglia Support Group, Professor Rebecca Fitzgerald will host this year’s “Caring for Patients with Heartburn and Barrett’s Oesophagus” event, alongside a panel of guest speakers.

This event is open to anyone affected by, or interested in, acid reflux/heartburn and/or Barrett’s oesophagus.

Agenda

The evening will cover three key topics:

  • Capsule Sponge Update and Its Future in Healthcare: Presented by Cyted Health
  • Overview of Anti-Reflux Surgical Techniques: Presented by Mr Craig Vickery, Consultant Surgeon, West Suffolk NHS Trust
  • An exclusive on dietary and lifestyle advice – the impact of weight loss drugs on reflux symptoms: Presented by Melanie Trees, Dietitian, Cambridge University Hospitals
